We found a winner!

Yesterday, Mom, Markie, Summer and I all went to purchase my wedding gown. After much deliberation, we found the winning gown at I Do Bridal in Seattle (Wallingford). I would put the pics up that we took of me in the dress, but I don't want the groom to see them! If you would like to see them, let me know!

Also, Pat and I are trying to "live a healthier lifestyle", and have been working out regularly and eating more healthily, so that we can look and feel our very best on our wedding day, and have beach-ready bodies for our honeymoon. It's going to be tough, but we can do it!

Mo' Pics!

The following are a couple more pictures of our venue that we took the other day. To the left is the outside deck, which, as long as the weather cooperates, we are considering holding the ceremony at. The second pic is another picture of the building, a hallway, showcasing the exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows and general architecture of the building.
The third pic below is a picture of the kitchen, which has a range, re-heating system for caterers, sinks, storage, stove and industrial size refrigerators and freezers. All of the appliances are stainless steel and brand new. The fourth pic is a view of the deck from another angle. While they are still working on a lot of the details, the building is coming along nicely! The grand opening is on February 5th, and we plan to attend and see the final product. Anyone in the wedding party who would also like to attend let us know!

Pics of our Venue!

To the left are the front doors of our venue, Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo, Washington. Right now, they are putting the finishing touches on the interior of the building, and it will have its grand opening on February 5th. Below is a picture of the room we will be holding our reception in. The floor has not been put in yet, but it will be a dark wood finish. The windows look out to the ocean and the small town. For those who are from out of state, Mukilteo is a coastal town about 30 minutes north of Seattle.

Venue and date are locked in!

Today Dad, Mom, and I went to Mukilteo to put down a deposit on our venue. While I was a little apprehensive a few months ago about choosing a place that was not completely built for our venue, the construction of the building has now been completed, and this week they are working on the floors. Upon touring, there were a lot of noises and people working. We also got to meet the Mayor of Mukilteo. The venue has floor to ceiling windows that look out to an ocean view, a wrap-around deck and hardwood floors.
Unfortunately, someone had already taken our June 25th date, so we are now getting married on July 10th. This also happens to be Ashley's birthday (one of our bridesmaids and one of my best friends). So to recap, we are getting married on July 10th at the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo (sometime after 6pm). Mark your calendar! :)
