More Cupcake News!

Today, Pat and I had the best cupcakes of our life at Yellow Leaf Cupcakes in Belltown. Have no fear, you will be able to try them at our wedding!
Yellow Leaf Cupcakes was voted "Best Reason to Eat Your Cupcake Top" by Seattle Weekly in 2009, and we can see why- the delicious Italian buttercream frosting. Most cupcakes are made with American buttercream, because it costs less and is easier to make. With Italian buttercream, you can taste all of the flavors-- the butter, vanilla, etc-- and it's light, so you don't feel bloated after eating them.
Anyways, we are totally sold on this shop, and may even order some to sample at the bridal shower! Yum!
Also, we went to look at wedding rings today. I am thinking of going with an antiquish style for mine with a halo surrounding my pear-shaped diamond (set in prongs). Pat is going to go with a simpler tungsten style.
We had such a great time today, celebrating downtown the anniversary of it being 4 years since the first day we met.
